Introduce

Due to the dependence on frost and the much milder winters of recent years, ice wine has now become a real rarity. 2007 was the ideal year for ice wine, because even before Christmas, highly ripe and perfectly healthy Pinot Noir grapes could be harvested in frost. All conditions fit together so well that with the necessary tact, a great sweet wine with enormous concentration and storage potential could be created. Awarded 1st place at the German Red Wine Award (category noble sweet).
